A "Little" Quicky

This one is a quicky between exams and classes. As some of you might know, I'm going to Florida for Thanksgiving. This of course means that a lot of time will be spent on the water, working on my tan, and on the computers or sitting in front of the big screen TV. I've been working hard trying to finish all my homework before this weekend so that I may truly have a vacation, but I have a feeling that that physics and math assignments will still be haunting me when I hit the beaches. Oh, sorry for any typos. I chewed one of my nails too short last night in a study group meeting, so the band aid is hindering my typing.

Typing that is currently happening in the LSC. Yes, I love the ability of this campus' computer setup. I have Internet access anywhere I could possibly want. And right now, I'm trying to kill the 20 minutes before I have to walk to my next class. Mmm... only three more classes and one more exam until Thanksgiving break is official! I cannot wait. Speaking of killing the time, though, lately it has seemed like I've had more and more of it. See, next semester I have to get up around 7 in the morning everyday. And, unless I want to spend my entire vacation sleeping til 2 Florida time, I really had to get my body used to getting up early. So, this entire week, I am proud to say I've been getting up anywhere from 7:30am to 8:30am. Considering my earliest class is at 10 on Mondays and Wednesdays, I feel that this is extremely good progress. The only down side is that I have to crash before midnight. Now, if you knew my little group of friends and I, you would know that we usually force ourselves into bed around 3 in the morning. So, in a nut shell, I've been trying to force the little party known as Berlin and friends out of my room around 11 at night. Last night was really tough, though, because Tirrel and Robby got piercings last night (I didn't, thank you very much mother) and they just had to sit in my room, listening to loud music and eating McDonald's. I can understand why some people like their roommates, I just don't understand why anyone would like mine. The only reason I think that it's a good idea I continue to room with Berlin is that she knows me and understands my stupid little quirks, which a new roommate would take years to learn. That and she's hardly ever in the room.

Alright, that's enough of a rant on my roommate. I mean, look at that paragraph, it's structure is completely off. Hehe. All my friends have been complaining because they have to take College Comp, the basic English course here that really sticks. And I, of course, don't! Whahahahaha. Ha. Haha. hahahahaha.... Ok, one more and I'm done. HA! I'm sorry, it's just that they always remark on how I'm always studying and working and always so serious, but once again my hard work has put me ahead and out of certain annoying courses that they must now take. I mean, yeah, so what if I have to schedule when I have my down time? At least I find time for it and all my homework. I am proud to say that my grades at the end of this semester will most likely be favorable. Speaking of favorable, that cup of coffee is screaming my name in bloody murder pitches, so I'm going to ample over there and spend my last few remaining bits of credit on a Large Snicker Delight, hold the cream and sugar. Whahahahahahaha.

Peace, Love and Another Free T-shirt,
Tar

P.S. ~ Yes, I got another free t-shirt yesterday when I stopped in the plaza and got a free tune-up from the cycling team. My bike now runs GREAT and I have a free t-shirt. Who says you have to pay for things on campus? You just have to wait long enough until they are free. Who cares if my tires were so low they looked flat when the bike was on the rack.... they're full now! That's what counts!!!

Ten Bucks Trivia

Alright. I will give ten bucks to whom ever can guess where I'm sending this email from. Fish, you're excluded. So's anyone else that is in Fort Collins right now.

So the semester is coming to a break and it's getting a little bit more crazy than before. Last weekend was the first in a long time that I was able to just sit back and chill without having to worry about driving home. I was supposed to go on a camping trip with friends, but I decided to decline after I realized how much of that time I could use for sleeping and doing homework.

Don't get me wrong, I do have a pretty good system going for the work I'm getting. I mean, it's nothing unreleasable. It's just that every week I have a Physics homework assignment due Tuesday at midnight and it usually takes about 7 hours to do the whole thing. He gives us a little under a week to do it. In Java I have a lab due every Wednesday by midnight and it really depends on the type of lab as to how long it'll take me to do. Then there's the reading for my Asian American History class every week, about 50 pages a week. Tuesdays are my Physics lab days, which I have to prep for before hand. Lately I've had a paper due for History every other week or so and an exam about once a month. Yeah, that's what's happening tomorrow, my last History exam. See, right now I have a History project which counts as my final grade, a history exam to study for, a website to make for the CS department and my CS192 class, and my research paper I have to do to get paid. Yet, here I am, typing up this email in a unique location at 2 in the morning.

What's everyone's Thanksgiving looking like? I know what'll be for you Florida-bunnies, but how about everyone else? Anyone?...

Oh! I have to gloat! I just kicked Miles' butt in chess! He was really confident going in, but he started losing it when I wouldn't fall for his traps. He's challenged me to a rematch as soon as I'm awake and have the time. Ahh... time. It's an eluding creature, that seems to exist in excessive amounts at night only. I dunno. I'd be way too bored if I didn't have that much to do.

OK, I'm cutting it short cause I have to drive back to the campus and find a parking place before my eyes fall closed for the evening. Type to y'all later.

Love, Peace, and Coffee,
Tar.
