First Week of Classes

Alright, so I had my first week of classes, as a few of you know. I know I said I'd email Friday.. but I've just been so swamped. Like right now, I'm holding two different conversations and trying to send this email. Le sigh. Alright! Down to one conversation, I can handle that.

So, yeah, I like most of my classes. I love my CS Seminar cause the professor is likely to be my hero. She's the one that got me my research grant in the CS department and she's helping me get other jobs and stuff. She's really awesome and I have a feeling, together, we're going to move the world. Haha. Just kidding. But we will move this college. We're already working on remodding the math requirements for a CS major.

My Java class is awesome, too. We get to play with robots and make them do stuff. The professor is a bit.. interesting, to say the least, but in a good way. He's from Hungry, I think.

I love, absolutely LOVE my Asian American History class. Thank you Hamilton for assigning the readings you did Junior year. The main text book is awesome and makes allusions to so many awesome works that I actually have heard of! Like Maxine Hong Kingston! Aunt Jeannie, you know who I'm talking about. Yeah. But all the books for the class are like that and Profesor Kim is cool. Very nice lecture style. Just awesome. Who cares that it is my latest class and I have to race over there to make it on time? I don't.

I don't like my physics or my math classes cause they're stupid simple. The physics class is a copy of what I've been taking for the past two years and I can't test out of it, which bores me to death. The math class is what I did 3rd quarter Junior year but expanded to a class. Which actually isn't possible, when you look at the book. They made up stuff to actually fill the class. The guy that wrote the book, is the one that teaches the class. And every semester, he rereleases the book, so you can't resell your book. Tell me that class doesn't suck.

I've already changed two classes, and I can't change again cause, honestly, I'm tired of standing in the book line. My schedule is kinda crazy right now cause of work and volunteering, but I'm going to try and keep emailing.

Um.. yeah, can't think of anything else and I've picked up a few other conversations. Sorry about poor email quality. I'll get back to you.

Post Move-in

Alright, so I've moved in. Been to a lot of events. Just for those of you who don't know, my roommate is my best friend from high school, so we're getting along fine.

Tonight, I think you would like to know, I was a Texas Hold 'Em dealer at Casino night. I was a pretty nice dealer. I had a habit of giving people more chips when they ran out. I think that was why I ended up with about 12 people at my table and only 8 chairs. Yeah. You know you're doing well when you're tipped a frisbee and 20,000 bucks. Trust me, the money was spent well. 2 bumber stickers, a key chain and a pen. Who said college wasn't expensive?

Let's see... last bit of info you'd like... I've made 4 new friends. My neighbors across the hall, Rachael and Beth, are really awesome and we've already became good friends. We hold an open door policy, seeing as we're the last two rooms at the end of the hall. We've already decided we're going to lead the revolution to paint our hallway. The white walls HAVE to go and I think two art majors (them) and one very loud and head-strong double major (me) should get the job done.

My other two buddies are Donovan and Fish (don't know his real name). They're guys in my CS major and considering we spent the better part of the day together, I think it's going to be an alright friendship. I have a feeling, deep, deep down, that I'm going to end up with a LOT of guy friends. Especially considering that I'm one of 4 girls going into CS this year. I think that I have a good chance, hmmm?

Alright, it's 1:07am so I'm going to end this quick. Once again, you want off the list, let me know. Oh! And due to my stupidity, I lost all my music :( So please! Please send me some! Attach songs, I'll give you my server address to upload them to, mail me copies, I don't care! I just want tons and tons of music.

Peace, Love, and Free T-Shirts!

Moving to CSU

Hey Ya'll,

I thought it would be genius if I made an email contact group that I could send emails to letting
people know I'm not dying at CSU. That and when I'd be coming into town, stuff like that.

This is the first email out to you all, so just send me back an email if you wish to be removed from my lovely little list. I just added the people in my contacts that I would like to stay in touch with. In case you're wondering, this is the email I will be using in college, so yeah, feel free to shoot me an email anytime.

Alright, it's 12:25am and I move up to Fort Collins is about.. oh... 4 hours. So yeah, maybe I should get some more sleep (I took a 7 hour nap today: no, I'm not lazy at all).

Love, Peace, and Good will towards men (Ain't that Christmas?)
